Centre for Social Enterprise Development
The Genesis Centre is funded by East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA), Coalfields Regeneration Trust and European Social Funds with an objective of developing social capital through social enterprise.

| Genesis Business Centre - Phase 2
Our new Genesis Business Centre opened on the 1st November 2004. This area incorporates further office space for short and long term lease as well as more conference and meeting room facilities. Full disabled access is available to all floors, and tenants also have access to kitchen facilities. Offices range in size from 241 square feet to 446 square feet.
Our new Business Centre, now includeds an extra 10,000 sq.ft. of managed office space. These offices, and Training rooms have been fitted out with analogue/digital points, Broadband options and administrative support. The size of rooms, along with our 'old' Business Centre, vary from 131 sq.ft. to 1,146 sq.ft., available on short term licence agreements. There are salubrious Conference rooms and Boardrooms, along with a new Reception area, providing security amenities, and friendly, helpful staff.

Our Chief Executive, Steve Holmes was invited to No 10 Downing Street! - on Monday 24th May 2004, to meet the Prime Minister and Mrs Blair, this was 'in recognition of people making a difference to their local communities'. It was an exciting, enjoyable and a proud day for Steve.
